Our Policies
iPet Grooming would like to assure you that every effort will be made to make your pet's grooming experience as safe and pleasant as possible. Your dog's safety is very important to us.
Dog Grooming Policies
ACCIDENTS
Accidents may occur during the grooming process when pets become agitated and restless. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified. If iPet feels it is an accident that requires veterinary attention and pet owner is not present, iPet will seek immediate veterinary care for your dog.
REFUSAL OF SERVICES
iPet has the right to refuse, stop and cancel any grooming services during the grooming process, in the event that your pet is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom.
MATTED COATS
Dogs with matted coats will require extra attention. If matting is minimal and pet responds well, we may dematt for an extra fee. If matting is severe, owners will be notified and pets will be shaved to remove matting. Dog's skin may appear red, itchy, and/or irritated due to lack of oxygen from the matts. If your dogs have matted coats, you acknowledge that you agree to the procedure and the risks indicated.
OTHER FEES
Additional fees may be applied to your regular grooming charge. These fees may arise if your pet needs extra/special handling, a flea/tick bath, and/or a deskunk bath.
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING
Please give us 24-hour notice to cancel. Failure to do so will result in a 50% fee of groom. If you need to reschedule, let us know 48 hours in advance. We will try our best to accommodate for another appointment date/time. In circumstances where we cannot accommodate, it will be considered a cancellation, in which the 50% fee of groom will apply.
SATISFACTION
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unhappy with anything related to your dog's grooming, please notify us within 2 days from your pet's last visit. iPet will be happy to make arrangements to make any adjustments for you and/or your pet without cost.
